Androstenedione/Nutrient Depletion:
  • LipidsLipids: Further clinical research has indicated a decrease in HDL-C levels and an increase in respective LDL-C/HDL-C/(apolipoprotein A/apolipoprotein B) lipid ratio (5.2% increase with androstenediol;10.5% increase with androstenedione) (3). Several other clinical studies have also shown that serum HDL cholesterol was reduced following androstenedione supplementation (5; 4; 15).
